How many times have you said to yourself, ‘when this is finished, I can finally have some peace?’

The goal was accomplished, the hurdle cleared, the river crossed; and there you still stood with no peace to be found.

True peace is not found by merely finishing the task at hand, that my friend is a facade. There is always something to replace what is just finished.

Nor is true peace the mere absence of conflict; for the absence of conflict can give us a false sense of peace.

True peace comes from God and a right relationship with Him through Christ. When we are at peace with God, we have peace within no matter what is happening in our lives.

You will (referring to God) keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you. Is. 26:3

When we keep our eyes on Him, walk in His ways, and put our confidence in His promises, we will experience the very peace of Christ.

A peace that is not dependent upon our situation, what others say and do, or the uncertainties of our times.

His peace comes from within, and that because we know His love for us and that He will take care of us, for He is faithful.

True peace is not found in this world, but in Christ alone. If we desire peace, we must keep our minds on Him.
