How many times do we seek the wisdom of men for our problems and our need for direction; when it is the Spirit of God that knows us best?

If we have truly put our trust in Him, then it is His Spirit and Word that should lead and guide our lives.

We should treasure His wisdom, for it will help us to keep away from the sorrows and pitfalls brought about by wrong decisions and choices.

Remember … God’s ways are not our ways. His thoughts and purposes are so much higher than ours.

He goes straight to the heart of a matter while we peer at things through our own biases and worldly thinking.

We see things superficially, while He doesn’t just see what we do, but the motivation behind why we do it.

Our Father in Heaven does not just put a Band-Aid on our problems; but delivers, heals, and makes us whole.

We live in fleshly bodies that move about by our natural senses and desires.

The spiritual condition, however, of the man on the inside, is what holds the key to our true joy and peace.

In the quietness of His presence, we are refreshed and find strength and refuge: from the fret and noise and demand of the world.

If we are seeking direction, peace, and joy for our lives; maybe it’s time to consider where we are looking.
