Our desire is to be like Jesus, in word and deed to be like Him.

The question … how do we go about being like Jesus?

The truth is; what we behold we become. So, what is the example you have set before your face today?

The apostle Paul tells us in II Corinthians 3, verse 18; “But we all with open face (being freed from spiritual darkness) beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed (transformed) into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.”

As we look into the Word of God it reflects back to us what we are to be in Christ. We are changed into what we see by the Holy Spirit and our willingness to obey.

Is it no wonder than today why so many are being conformed to this world; when their eyes - minds are in the world and not in God at all?’

We do not become like Jesus, my friend, by following the example of the world. We have been called out of this world and unto God.

We are to walk in the newness of life and that means putting off the old man, our former way of life, before we knew Christ.

Now we are to put on the new man, which is Christ; and follow the example of Jesus.

We cannot do this on our own. The Holy Spirit with strengthen and empower us through our obedience.

If we will continue in the truth … in the end we will see that what we saw in that glass, we have now become.

“Behold, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him: for we shall see him as he is.” I Jn. 3:2

No matter what this world offers, no matter how good it makes itself to appear; it is all a facade, only temporary at best.

I personally do not want a life without God. What about you?
