Is Jesus really the Lord of your life?

It’s one thing to accept Him as your Saviour; quite another to make Him your Lord!

Jesus is supposed to be the Lord of our life. This means in every part. Not just in our hearts, but in our minds and bodies too.

This speaks of a process. When we receive Christ into our hearts, our journey begins. Together, Him and we, will bring this process to fulfillment.

The apostle Paul said it perfectly. “…I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.” I Thess. 5:23-24

Every day, we as saints, are to work to make sure God is and stays first place in our lives.

With the help of His Holy Spirit we are to tear down the idols we have built up in our lives and minds.

An idol, my friend, is much more than a statue or image! An idol can be anything in our lives that we allow to take the place of our God. Our God should be first place.

It’s high time that we get our priorities in order. This doesn’t just mean going to church. We are to walk with our Lord everyday and follow His example.
