It takes faith to walk with God; but it also takes courage.

His ways and thoughts are so much higher than the noise and chaos of this world.

The things of this life try to control and dictate our every waking moment and sometimes even follow us after we close our eyes to sleep.

The Spirit of the Lord is with us to direct and guide our steps and give us lasting peace and wisdom from above.

He is never in a hurry; which is so contrary to the voices all around us that say: you have to do it now, it can’t wait.

The Jesus Way

When we walk the Jesus’ way, we are going against the current, but He gives us the strength to overcome.

Instead of worrying and trying to work things out ourselves; He tells us pray.

Instead of allowing unforgiveness and bitterness to taint our thoughts and life; He tells us to forgive and to also pray for those who offend us.

Instead of trying to get our way; He tells us to seek God’s will.

Instead of walking in pettiness, jealousy, hatred, anger, and lust; He tells us to love one another as He has loved us. There is a difference between God’s love and the natural love of men.

Jesus didn’t just tell us to do these things; He taught us by example.

We are to clothe ourselves with Christ: kindness, temperance, long-suffering, and patience.
